New Task Summary Name Field in Project Pro 2016

PPM Works would like to share a new field that was rolled out to Project Online customers in March of 2017. The Task Summary Name field is a read only field now available in Project 2016. This feature update is only available to Project Online subscribers and it will be rolled out first to Office Insider participants.

To insert the new field, right click on the name of the column to the right of where you want the field inserted. Select Insert Column

Task Summary Name.

At times it can be difficult to visualize task indentations. This field can help you identify the Work Breakdown Structure in lengthy projects that have a large of number of tasks.
