Compatibility of Project Pro for Office 365 with Project Server 2013 (on premise)

Project Pro Compatibility Office 365 for Project Online. With the new Office 365 for Project licensing and the great EverGreen Project Online capabilities.  We recently asked Microsoft about the compatibility of Project Pro for Office 365 with Project Server 2013 (on premise).

Question:  If you purchase Project Pro for 0365 will they be able to continue to use it with Project Server 2013 On Premise, even after Microsoft starts releasing “2016” features into the Project Pro for O365 client.

Microsoft’s Answer:  It should work, customers will be able to keep using Project Pro for Office 365 with Project Server 2013 on-premises.
