Microsoft Update, Microsoft Lync, Lync for Mac,
Hello out there,
Many of our clients and team mates use Microsoft Office 365 across multiple devices, this is a great feature of Microsoft Office 365. We recently came across a connection error with Lync for Mac and we wanted to share our firsthand experience with this issues. We hope this helps. Let us know if you have similar issues or if there is anything we can assist you with.
If you are just installing Lync (or Office for that matter) you will want to first, try closing all programs and rebooting your MAC (especially since we installed Office and a few other items).
Second, test to see if you can connect to Lync (using the Autodiscover method) – entering in your email address as the auto-discover Login information.
Third, if that does not work (try installing the latest Lync for MAC version). You can follow along on this post: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3007876. Again we recommend that you reboot (just in case).
