SharePoint Designer 2013: There Are No Items to Show in This View

In one of our customer environments we were running into issues with accessing List/Library from SharePoint Designer 2013. We were getting not getting any error, however getting below message in SharePoint Designer 2013.

SharePoint Designer 2013: There are no items to show in this view

We made sure that users has correct permission to access the list and library. Users were able to access the other objects like workflows, Pages etc without any issues.

I tried to browse all SharePoint list in the browser and was able to access all lists except one list. The the problematic list, I was getting below error.

Sorry, something went wrong

We removed the problematic list after taking database backup and that helped to resolve the issue.
