South Florida: What’s New in Project 2013?

Event Description:Â This event will give you an extensive overview of the 2013 Microsoft Project so that you can see first-hand the rich reporting, collaboration and portfolio management capabilities the latest version has to offer. During this event, you’ll have the chance to:
-Engage with peers on enhancing usage of Microsoft Project’s portfolio management solutions within organizations.
-Learn how Microsoft Project offers flexible online and on-premises solutions for project portfolio management (PPM) and everyday work, enabling you to effectively execute and achieve strategic priorities.
-Experience how easily you can plan projects and collaborate with others from virtually anywhere.
-Understand new options for teams, departments, and large organizations to adopt lightweight or rigorous approaches to PPM through SharePoint, Project Server and Project Online.
Presenter:Â Selena Huck, a Senior Project Manager at PPM Works, is a highly experienced project manager and MS Project Server Expert with over 10 years working for fortune 500 companies and leading large scale initiatives. Through her projects she has created processes and procedures to assist with governance.
Coupled with experience, Selena has obtained multiple industry certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Greenbelt, and certifications in Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
Selena stays active in the project management community and participates in multiple organizations that support the growth and changes in the project management arena. Through her efforts the Microsoft Project User Group (MPUG) in South Florida was started where she serves as the President of the chapter.
