Event Description:
Join the Boston Chapter of MPUG for our next meeting on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 where the topic will be “An Inside Look At Dates And Calendars Within Microsoft Project – How Dates Are Stored And How Calendars Are Used”. This interactive presentation and discussion will be delivered by Mr. Mark H Wells, PMP, MCTS at our new meeting location: Constant Contact in Waltham, MA.
Have you ever needed to perform date calculations within MS Project but couldn’t get them to work? Have you ever wondered why tasks within Project sometimes have seemingly incorrect Durations? Are you aware that Project has different calendars, but are unsure of how and when to use them?
As we start a new year and new calendar, it seemed like a perfect time to take a fresh look at the calendar and date functions in Microsoft Project. Join us for this first meeting of 2015 as project expert Mark Wells explains how to perform date calculations, how the various calendars work and when to use them. Bring your questions for our experts!
In keeping with the new year and our new meeting location, we will be previewing our new monthly meeting schedule and exciting topics for enhanced discussion and learning. Come and get the full scoop on what your new MPUG Boston Chapter has in store for you in 2015!
