You would add a generic resource the same way you would add any other enterprise resource

• Log into Project Professional
• Go to Tools >> Build Team from Enterprise
• Click on the Generic resource you would like to add (you can tell if a resource is a Generic Resource because they will have the people icon (double face) to the left of their name)
• Click Add and then OK
