MSPCFPRJ Views Missing in Project Server 2013

Recently we did Project Server 2010 to Project Server 2013 migration for one of our clients. Post migration we noticed that some of the MSPCFPRJ views missing in Project Server 2013 environment.

Project Server cerates MSPCFPRJ SQL views for each multi-value custom field and these views can be used while creating reports based on Multi Value custom fields.

We finally resolved the issue by creating these views in Project Server 2013 environment by generating the create view statement from the 2010 reporting DB.

Alternatively you can also try below methods to resolve this issue.

  1. Rename the custom field for which MSPCFPRJ view is missing. The new SQL MSPCFPRJ  view will get created as per the renamed field. Later change custom field name back to the original one and that will create missing MSPCFPRJ based on original custom filed name.
  2. Perform RDB Refresh.

Hope this helps. Contact us with any questions.
