Microsoft Planner Reporting – Everyone Wants Them – But How Do You Get Them?
If you’re an organization that makes use of Microsoft Planner for lightweight project management, you (like me!) may be frustrated by the fact you cannot directly report from Planner. Unlike Project Online, you cannot access Planner directly from API or OData into any reporting tool (Power BI being my favorite!). We’ve developed a workaround for this with our Planner Data Warehouse. The tool takes data from the Planner API and stores it in an Azure DB, thereby making it possible to create reports from Planner, as shown below. If you’re interested in learning more, reach out to us at info@ppmworks.com!
