World Autism Awareness Day and Light Up Blue!
April 2nd is one of our favorite days of the year.
It’s World Autism Awareness Day — and it’s also the day we kick off our annual global autism awareness initiative.
It’s called Light It Up Blue. People from all across the globe light up their homes, schools, offices, and iconic landmarks the color blue throughout the month of April.
There are endless ways to participate — swap in a blue light bulb on your front porch, get folks at work to wear something blue, or turn your Facebook profile picture blue to show support for our community.
The most important thing is that you’re part of it.
This is our chance to shine a light on autism and make sure the world is paying attention. Our families deserve nothing less.
So, say you’ll do your part to Light It Up Blue on April 2nd.
