Microsoft Project and Macs
So what is the official MSFT response to Microsoft Project and Macs compatibility? When we asked Microsoft: Can you use Project Online/Project Server and Project Pro with a Mac? The short answer was Macs can use the complete web functionality of Project Online. Detailed Project Schedulers/Project Managers will need to access to Project Professional in parallels or another vm emulator.

- Project Online Project Web App – the web interface will work on a Mac. For supported browsers see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263526(v=office.15).aspx (Project Server 2013 / Project Online supports the same browsers as SharePoint 2013).
- Project Pro will not install on a Mac.
