Project Center Views Not Grouping Alphabetically

I was recently grouping a Project Center view for a customer. I noted that the grouping was not alphabetized.

When looking at the Summary view that I grouped by Owner, the grouping was in alphabetical order.

When grouping views by custom fields that are associated with a look up table, the grouping order will match the order in the look up table.

I changed the display order to sort ascending to alphabetize the list.

Now the view is grouped alphabetically.
